Founded 6 years ago, the Faculty of Civil Construction Management is a modern academic institution offering career-focused education that provides the graduates with appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to successfully begin a career, carry out all kinds of tasks and procedures within construction management and continue to grow professionally and personally throughout their career .
To accomplish the mentioned mission, the Faculty has established appropriate Programs, designed in accordance with the leading European faculties. Lectures and work practice offer the students the ability to become skilled and competitive experts meeting the modern world's needs. The Programs are designed in accordance with the principles issued by the Bologna Declaration, including the European Credit Transfer System, the latest teaching activities and evaluation systems intended for lecturers. The future students will be provided with necessary technical and audio-visual equipment as well as Internet communication needed for teaching process realization. All the students are the members of the University Library «Svetozar Marković» in Belgrade
Faculty is the part of the University UNION, and one of its founder. The Republic Council for the Development of the University Education accredited our institution with legal document No. 612-00-296/2004-04 from 13. June 2005, upon which Ministry of education granted our Faculty permission to work..
ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The University UNION was founded in 2005 in Belgrade. It is an independent, educational institution offering the highest standards of teaching, learning, evaluating and applying the acquired skills and knowledge through its academic study programs.
The University is organized in accordance with the European and world standards and is always open to new ideas. It cooperates with the national and international faculties and universities in order to exchange information and the latest scientific achievements.

Construction managers are playing an increasingly important
role in the development, construction, and maintenance of the built
environment. With their solid project management skills and their ability
to manage time, resources, and money, professionals in this field are
involved in construction projects from conceptualization to completion.
As a student in our construction management program, you'll study
state-of-the-art construction methods and materials. You'll develop skills
in management, budgeting and cost control, cost estimation, scheduling,
and engineering fundamentals. In addition, you will enhance your
analytical, team-building, and communication skills.
As a graduate you may oversee projects for construction management firms,
general and special construction contracting companies, real estate
developers, appraisers, financial institutions, or real estate management
firms. Many graduates seek positions in government agencies, architecture
firms, engineering firms, industrial companies, or material suppliers. You
may pursue a graduate degree in construction management.
The nature of many civil engineering projects means that there is a need
for today's engineers to have a good understanding of construction
management due to the strategic benefits it can bring to both individuals
and project teams. As the industry becomes more competitive, organizations
and their clients are increasingly demanding the combined time, cost and
quality assurances that good project management practice provides.
Furthermore, the industry now recognises that there is a need for
engineers to gain specialist technical knowledge which compliments their
academic and professional background.
The Faculty of Civil Construction Management offers the most up-to-date
world tendencies included in the system of education.
The Faculty is a pioneer of reflecting a new and completely different
approach to both students and the process of acquiring skills and
knowledge. The Programs incorporate successful tradition of national,
European and American faculties. The Faculty provides individualized,
personal attention for each student, organizes small-group works and
direct contacts with lecturers. Within a student-focused learning
environment, the Faculty provides opportunities for intellectual and
personal growth both in and out of the classroom, resulting in the
development of the whole student as a skilled professional and engaged
citizen. The students enhance their analytical, team-building and
communication skills.
One of the advantages of this Faculty is the model of the European Credit
Transfer System, in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. Each subjects
brings certain number of points (credits) that are transferrable to any
national or international faculty using the same model.
Creativity, enterprising spirit and freedom of thoughts are stimulated and
encouraged by taking part in interactive learning process and research
debates, gatherings and seminars.
Each person's individual development requires appropriate knowledge and
skills, which is the reason of our striving for offering the first-rate
